Dr. Wes Prepchuk
General Dentist
Dr. Wes Prepchuk was born in Edmonton but grew up mostly in the Calgary area. He made the trek over to Sydney, Australia in 2005, accompanied by his wife and two little boys. Since then, they’ve added two more children to their family, including a little girl.
Dr. Prepchuk holds bachelor degrees in Biochemistry from the University of Lethbridge, Canada and in Dentistry from the University of Sydney, Australia.
He believes in the importance of offering a complete range of services to his patients and has yet to discover an aspect of dentistry that he doesn’t enjoy. He loves the interaction with people, the intricately detailed work, and the active learning environment that dentistry provides.
After 14 years of practicing dentistry in Australia, he and his now-grown family have moved back home to Calgary to settle, trading the sunny beaches and kangaroos of Australia for the snowy mountains and grizzly bears of Canada.

Dr. Krizza Flores, DDS
General Dentist
Dr. Krizza Flores is originally from the Philippines, where she completed her first dental degree in 2015. After moving to Canada, she continued her journey in dentistry by returning to dental school at the University of Minnesota, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2024.
Dr. Flores is passionate about getting to know her patients and building meaningful, long-term relationships. She believes that trust, communication, and patient education are essential to providing comfortable, thoughtful and comprehensive dental care. Her approach focuses on creating a positive experience for every patient who walks through the door. She speaks both English and Tagalog, and is passionate about supporting Calgary’s Filipino community.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Flores enjoys travelling and exploring new places. Originally from Vancouver, she is settled in Calgary, where she enjoys building lasting relationships with patients at Midpark Dental.

Dr. Mir Dawood
General Dentist
Dr. Dawood graduated from University of Sydney in 2018 and he has been committed to helping patients achieve healthier, more confident smiles ever since. During his time in dental school, he participated in the Royal Flying Doctors Service, which sparked his interest in serving rural and small communities. This interest also allowed him to acquire considerable experience in the field of surgical dentistry.
As a general dentist, Dr. Dawood provides a wide spectrum of dental treatments, always tailoring his approach to each patient’s individual needs. He has a particular expertise in surgical extractions and cosmetic facial therapy, where precision and attention to detail have earned him an excellent reputation among both colleagues and patients.
Dr. Dawood is known for his calm demeanor, genuine care for his patients and clear communication style. Patients of all ages appreciate the way he makes their visits comfortable and informative. Beyond treatment, he is passionate about educating patients on lifelong oral health practices, empowering them to take an active role in their dental care.
When Dr. Dawood is not caring for smiles, he enjoys spending time with his family and his dog, Watson, a Japanese Akita. He enjoys golfing (but only on the days he hits the ball well!) and playing soccer. He stays active in the community by coaching youth soccer and playing pickleball with locals, and his claim to fame is that he was the tallest kid in the seventh grade before he stopped growing altogether.
We are proud to welcome Dr. Dawood to our team at Midpark Dental. His professionalism, expertise, and approachable personality enrich the care we provide every day.

Amber has worked at Midpark Dental since 2008. She is one of the longest-serving team members!
While she’s called Calgary home for the last 14 years, Amber’s originally from the beautiful mountains of British Columbia. It’s no surprise that she loves camping, hiking, and swimming when she’s not helping patients, of course.
“One of my favourite things about my job is getting to personally know each patient and being involved in improving their oral and overall health.”
Credentials: Bachelor of Science, King’s University, 2003; Dental Hygiene Diploma, University of Alberta, 2008
